Stoke Church will reopen for worship after receiving funding from the national church

”Once the main church building has been renovated as well, they will relocate there. Alan has led Remembrance, Christmas, and Easter services at the local sixth form college, which has already been involved in the church’s reopening”.
”He also runs a weekly Christian Union group and an Alpha course. It was the first Easter service at the college, according to a teacher who has been there for more than 15 years”.
“We’ve had two people who used to worship at All Saints,” Alan says. There have never been so many young people in the church, according to one.

”Even though the church hasn’t formally reopened yet, word of its reopening has spread locally thanks to a number of social media videos that the team has posted every day of 2026 that provide an update on the process”.
”Although the videos have gained popularity across the country, Alan attributes this idea to one of the church’s students and states that the goal was to show the local community the reality of the journey.
”All Saints Hanley’s reopening is a component of the Diocese of Lichfield’s larger plan for Stoke, which also calls for collaborating with local churches at nine of the city’s schools’.
